JESUS BUILDS HIS CHURCH

There are three building blocks that are essential to the church that Jesus is building. Each, in order, is an embodiment of the spoken rhema word, the creative power of God, releasing heaven’s kingdom company into the earth realm.

They are: wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

The Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. - Proverbs 2:6.

Through wisdom a house is built,

And by understanding it is established;

By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. - Proverbs 24:3-4.

Each of us enjoys bold access into the holy of holies. All of Jesus’ disciples are blessed to receive revelation, manna from heaven. God, in these last days speaks to us by His Son.

Yet, God uses people to assemble the living stones into functional expressions of His Church ~ people who are gifts ~ to equip the saints for good works which He prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

The degree of our participation in God’s eternal purpose will be in direct proportion to the degree of our reception of those whom He has appointed.

God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers. - I Corinthians 12:28.

These are messengers, not managers. They are oracles ~ carriers of the word of God ~ with the purpose of gathering, assembling and equipping the people of God.

Apostles carry wisdom. Prophets carry knowledge. Teachers carry understanding.

We need all of them to come to us, rightly ordered with one another, for the church to come into unity, maturity and our destiny.

We need to receive all of them (who are bearing good fruit), so that we may receive our reward.
