THE ANSWER TO SOCIETAL ILLS

It’s past time for the church to come to grips with our responsibility, and respond with God-given ability to the challenges that face society.

The evil trinity of the world, the flesh and the devil are as intrinsically tied together as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You get one, you get ‘em all. The best possible human governmental system would result in wisdom that is earthly, sensual and (not or) demonic - because it does not descend from above. Can a fig tree bear olives? (Read James 3:12-18.)

Fallen humanity walks in the flesh (and therefore cannot please God), inspired by the devil, and influences the ways of the world. The earth is in great need of heaven’s ambassadors - those who walk in the Spirit, inspired by God, and influence their spheres with prophetic authority, thus pulling the heavenly realm into the earth realm.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. – Isaiah 55:8-9

It is the Spirit-led sons (Romans 8:14) who have been given power over all of the enemy (Luke 10:17-22) - who have been instructed to cast out demons in Jesus’ name (Matthew 10:7-8).

Beloved, believe me! The increase of child abductions, rapes, violence, corruption in business and politics - lawlessness in general - is the natural fruit of natural man! It is absolutely demonic! We can expect nothing less until we - the church - step up to the plate in His power and authority! Jesus promised that we would do His works in an increasing manner until all the earth is filled with His glory.

The earnest expectation (anxious longing) of the creation eagerly waits (cries out) for the revealing (manifestation of) the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope, because the creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. – Romans 8:19-20

The church of Jesus Christ is the standard that God is raising up against the flood of evil. His kingdom is coming on the earth as it is in heaven!
